Lake Hopatcong, N.J. – Boaters looking to improve their boat handling skills and awareness can now access hands-on training courses through Bridge Marina’s Build a Boater program.  Created in partnership with the nationally recognized BoatUS Foundation and the National Safe Boating Council, the program is boat driver’s education, providing participants with hours of on-the-water training and guidance and support to obtain the New Jersey Boating Safety Certificate. 

The free summer gazebo concerts are back for 2021 and have been scheduled by the Jefferson Arts Committee throughout the summer in the beautiful Victorian gazebo in the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex, 1033 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong (use Oak Ridge, NJ in your GPS), NJ. All concerts begin at 7pm and are two hours long usually with a short intermission!

The Jefferson Township Carnival is returning for its sixth season with Campy’s Blue Star Amusements, with 300-500 attendees expected each night.

The Jefferson Striders, a recreational track program for children in grades K-8 sponsored by the Jefferson Township Recreation Department is back for 2021.

Jefferson Twp., NJ:   26th Legislative District State Senate candidate Christine Clarke dropped off 604 pounds of donated food to five food pantries around her district, after her ‘Petitions and Pantries’ drive to support food-insecure constituents while collecting signatures for her ballot petition to represent the 26th District.
