On Saturday Girl Scout Troop 97453 held their 1st Drive-Thru Cookie that gained Statewide attention earlier this week as President Betty Garger, President & CEO of Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey called this an example of out-of-box thinking.

In total the Girl Scouts sold 724 boxes of cookies, which go into the following local girl scout funds that mean you’re not only supporting girls’ success but also the success of your community, all while helping build the next generation of female entrepreneurs.

The Mayor of Hopatcong was among the residential cookie monsters that visited the booth, where he reportedly bought one of each type of cookie. Additionally, the Hopatcong Police Department took time to stop into the booth to show their community spirit.
