Jefferson Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony - Virtual

For over the last 20+ years in Jefferson Township the town has held its special Holiday Tree Lighting next to the Gazebo. This year it is a little different, but the event is even more special this year as orchestrated by the Jefferson Arts Committee.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions this year the event will be virtual, which means that everyone can sit in the comfort of their homes as they watch the Facebook Page Jefferson Township to see the lighting of the tree, as they see the tree placed and decorated by the Jefferson Arts Committee, and lit by the Parks Department.

Special this Year:

• The Mayor (Eric F. Wilsusen) will address the community by live stream
• The Council President (Kim Finnegan) will read the “Night before Christmas”
• The Citizen of the Year Katherine "Kat" VanWolput, co-owner of Oak Ridge Martial Arts will flip the switch
• Santa than will arrive by Firetruck
