A new Kiwanis club is planned for the Roxbury area to give community members the opportunity to help kids.
The planned an exploratory meeting for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10 via Zoom. The meeting discussed Kiwanis initiatives, volunteering, member joining, and the upcoming organization meeting.
Kiwanis International has more than 600,000 members around the world dedicated to volunteer service that helps kids. “Kiwanis clubs provide a great opportunity to meet new friends who believe in serving their communities, networking with business professionals and making a significant impact on the community through volunteering,” said Frank Cahill, Lt. Governor New Jersey Division 9.
