Jefferson Police Media Brief for 09/07/2019 that covers two months of police work in Jefferson Township resulting in multiple arrests, motor vehicle crashes and cases of resisting arrest.

7/09/19 Warrant Arrest, CDS Possession, Hindering Apprehension PO Fuehring: Ryan Mulligan, 28, of Lake Shawnee was acting disorderly in the area of the Jefferson House. Mulligan gave officers a false name while they were speaking to him. Further investigation revealed an active no bail warrant out of Morris County. Mulligan was arrested for Morris County Warrant, Possession of Cocaine, Heroin and being under the influence of CDS. Court date is pending.

7/14/19 MV Stop, DWI, Aggravated Assault Resisting Arrest, PO Paskas and PO Johnson: Brendan Duffy, 24, of Mine Hill was stopped for failing to maintain his lane of travel on Prospect Point Rd. Mr. Duffy was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was placed under arrest. While effecting the arrest of Duffy he pushed Officer Paskas and PO Johnson in an attempt to resist arrest. Arrest was made and Duffy was charged with Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest and numerous MV violations. Court date is pending.

07/20/2019 MV Stop, CDS Arrest PO Saparito: Anthony Naylor, 19, of Old Bridge, was placed under arrest during a MV stop for possession of CDS. Mr. Naylor was charged and issued MV summons. Court date is pending.

07/21/2019 MV Crash/DWI, PO McGowan: Perry Tyroler, 53, of Mine Hill was arrested for DWI during a Motor Vehicle Crash on Weldon Road. Ms. Tyroler was placed under arrest and transported to Jefferson Township Police Headquarters to be processed. She was issued summons and released pending a future court date.

07/21/2019 MV Crash/DWI, PO Parisi: Richard Lance, 53, of Andover was arrested for DWI during a Motor Vehicle Crash in the parking lot of Taphouse 15. Mr. Lance was placed under arrest and transported to Jefferson Township Police Headquarters to be processed. He was issued summons and released pending a future court date.

07/21/2019 Possession of CDS, PO Lamantia: Kevin Naranjo, 22, of Rockaway was arrested for Possession of CDS during a motor vehicle stop on Route 15 South. Mr. Narajo was arrested and transported to Jefferson Township Police Headquarters to be processed. He was issued a summons and released pending a future court date.

8/19/19 MV Stop/DWI, PO Wojtach: Samantha Simmons, 22, of Hamburg was arrested for DWI during a motor vehicle stop on Espanong Road. Ms. Simmons was placed under arrest and transported to Jefferson Township Police Headquarters to be processed. She was issued summons and released pending a future court date.

8/24/2019 Possession of CDS, PO Saparito: Cristobal Mosquera, 25, of Kearny, was arrested for Possession of CDS during a MV Stop on Route 15 North. He was transported to headquarters, processed and released pending a future court date.

08/25/2019 DWI/Poss CDS, PO Saparito/Williams: Joseph Yarosz, 26, of Hopatcong was arrested for DWI during a Motor Vehicle stop on Route 15 South. Mr. Yarosz was found to be in possession of CDS. He placed under arrest and transported to Jefferson Township Police Headquarters to be processed. He was issued summons and released pending a future court date.

8/26/2019 DWI/Possession CDS, Paskas: Jason DaSilva, 28, of Dingmans Ferry, PA, was arrested for DWI and Possession of CDS during a Motor Vehicle stop on Route 15 North. Mr. DaSilva was placed under arrest and transported to Jefferson Township Police Headquarters to be processed. He was issued summons and released pending a future court date.

8/31/2019 MV Stop DWI Arrest PO Ondish: Anthony Rucereto, 28, of Hackettstown, was arrested for DWI during a Motor Vehicle stop on Route 15 South. Mr. Rucerto was placed under arrest and transported to Jefferson Township Police Headquarters to be processed. He was issued summons and released pending a future court date.

09/04/2019 Hit and Run MVA, Property Damage, DWI PO Wojtach: Brianne Garvey, 29, of Flanders, was arrested for DWI after she struck a large rock and a mailbox on Nolan’s Point Road with her motor vehicle. She fled the scene. Ms. Garvey was apprehended a short time later in Roxbury Township PD. She was issued several summons pending a court date.
