After a long pandemic-related hiatus, The Jefferson Township Community Chorus sponsored by the Jefferson Arts Committee, will begin its fall/winter rehearsal schedule on Tuesday, September 21 from 7:30 to 9 pm in the Jefferson Township High School Band Room, 1010 Weldon Road, Milton/Oak Ridge under the direction of James Wynne.   

The Jefferson Arts Committee’s free summer gazebo concerts continue throughout the end of August on Friday evenings at the beautiful Victorian gazebo in the municipal complex (1033 Weldon Road, Oak Ridge). All concerts begin at 7 p.m. and are two hours long, usually with a short intermission.

JEFFERSON  The Jefferson Township Museum, also known as the George Chamberlain House, will have an open house on Sunday, August 1, 2021, from 1 to 4 pm.

The following is the tentative roadwork schedule for the following Jefferson Township roads, weather permitting, milling expected to start, July 6th, paving expected to start on or about July 12th. This schedule may vary.

Lake Hopatcong, N.J. – Boaters looking to improve their boat handling skills and awareness can now access hands-on training courses through Bridge Marina’s Build a Boater program.  Created in partnership with the nationally recognized BoatUS Foundation and the National Safe Boating Council, the program is boat driver’s education, providing participants with hours of on-the-water training and guidance and support to obtain the New Jersey Boating Safety Certificate. 

The free summer gazebo concerts are back for 2021 and have been scheduled by the Jefferson Arts Committee throughout the summer in the beautiful Victorian gazebo in the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex, 1033 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong (use Oak Ridge, NJ in your GPS), NJ. All concerts begin at 7pm and are two hours long usually with a short intermission!
