The Borough of Hopatcong is seeking public comment on planning and engineering documents for proposed modifications to the Borough Sanitary Sewer System, known as the Hudson Avenue Sewer Extension Project.
The Borough has applied for a low interest loan from the New Jersey Environmental Infrastructure Trust (NJEIT). The project cost and loan amount will be approximately $600,000.
The proposed modifications include the extension of approximately 2,300 linear feet of low-pressure PVC sewer mains on Hudson Avenue in the Borough for connection to the existing Borough sanitary sewer system.
The engineer plans and planning documentation are available for review at the Borough Municipal Building, located at 111 River Styx Road, Hopatcong, NJ.
