Hopatcong Durban Avenue School uses Kindness Rocks as “scattered seeds of kindness,” thanks to Ms. Schuffenhauer, School Counselor and Mrs. Gambuzza, Reading Specialist.

Students at Hopatcong Durban Avenue School left their mark at their new school by painting kindness rocks to welcome visitors to the school at Open House on September 5, 2019.  Ms. Schuffenhauer, School Counselor at Durban Avenue for Pre-K through first grade, let the students in creating unique kindness rocks with the help of Mrs. Gambuzza, Reading Specialist. 

They also showed the first graders the plants that grew over the summer when they “scattered seeds of kindness,” while the students were housed at the Middle School.
