At Hopatcong Middle School, a new Big Shoes award was created to recognize faculty and staff like Neil Pallotta for their hard work and commitment to academic excellence.

The “Big Shoes Award”—similar to the employee of the month—is commemorated by a giant gilded sneaker used to represent those individuals who go the extra mile. The first recipient of the Big Shoes Award is Neil Pallotta for going above and beyond when delivering lunches to our students at Fair View Lake, as well as staying after school providing academic assistance and additional instruction for his students.
