Jay Black at the Comedy Shoppe Mt. Arlington, NJ
Jay Black is a former high school teacher turned comedian. He made his mark on the college circuit performing at nearly 700 colleges nationwide. For his efforts on the college circuit, Jay has received numerous awards, including the “Campus Activities Magazine Comedian of the Year”, the APCA College Comedian of the Year”, and the “all-around College Performer of the Year”.
Black is a regular on the club scene, opening for stars such as Joel McHale, Ben Bailey, and Sinbad. Jay Black is a writer and actor, known for “Meet My Valentine”, “How Sweet It Is”, and “Paulie”. Jay has worked extensively as a club comedian as well, appearing everywhere from Atlantic City (The Tropicana) to Las Vegas (The Tropicana, MGM Grand) to Los Angeles (The Improv, The Laugh Factory) to all points in between. He is most proud of entertaining troops and their families as the host of Army Entertainment’s “I. A.M. Strong” tour.
Bill Chiang: An immigrant with a traditional Asian background, stand up comedy is probably the last thing people would have predicted for Bill. In fact, even he doesn’t believe it. Out of curiosity, he tried one night in 2005 and since then, he has quickly become regular in clubs across the East Coast.
