According to the official records from the Knee Deep Club (LDC), the following are the winners from this weekend’s Trout and Pickerel Contests.
There are plenty of trout here with the State having stocked twice already and are expected back again this week. In addition, the Knee-Deep Club stocked over the weekend, adding over a thousand more trout.
More than 184,000 freshly stocked rainbow trout will be available statewide, including more than 40 fishing spots across Morris County, as anglers cast their lines on the much-anticipated opening of trout season at 8 a.m. this Saturday, April 7.
On Sunday, April 22, 2018, the Knee Deep Club will hold its trout fishing contest on Lake Hopatcong. The contest will begin at 5:00 AM and conclude at 4:00 PM.
